Cummins, who will miss the tournament due to injury, pointed directly to the explosive batting core featuring several IPL stars as the team's biggest strength.

He specifically highlighted the opening combination of Mitchell Marsh and Sunrisers Hyderabad teammate Travis Head, labeling them the "most powerful opening batsmen in the world." Cummins also praised the middle-order firepower provided by Glenn Maxwell and Tim David, noting their ability to win games single-handedly.
